Shouldn't the heading also include "girls"?

The heading for this topic says "From best boys to producers, discuss the other favorite people who help bring the magic to the screen."
But shouldn't it actually say "From best boys and girls.." since obviously female moviemakers also exist too. -

Considering that child labor laws prohibit using actual children as electricians or grips, I'd say it's plainly obvious that the term is one of tradition and not current sexism. Odd that you have no problem with child labor

It's an old term and probably females are referred to as 'best girls' on the set. So it ought to read 'From best boys and best girls.'
