If Neil had not maid (Ha) the made (Ha) as also being the butler and Twain it would have been better.
Your review is helpful in getting it there are twists.
Just I’m stuck on being confused how two that we saw interact are both one.
It also seems unfair or odd to set up this elaborate prank which made it impossible for them to figure out just to make a point.
One of Neil’s worst or forgotten movies and with good reason.

Yeah, it's a good example of clever writing that would go over people's heads nowadays. I saw these classic films and made the connections. It was just fun. Truman Capote's cameo surprised me. I think what he said at the end is exactly the point you just made out. There was a film that came out later called The Cheap Detective. It was a nice try but didn't completely work.

Hey man, I checked to see if you had a review for Ghost Dog since I caught the last 20 min. or so the other night, and have seen the whole thing before.
I’m glad to see you did and agree.
A very unusual way to make a mob hit man picture and quite a departure from the typical way of doing it.
Somehow this works and Forrest is perfectly cast for the role.

I got a Haruki Murakami Kafka on the Shore vibe from Ghost Dog but Jim Jarmusch wrote and directed Ghost Dog first and so there's some room for pondering why they are so well matched
I liked Ghost Dog, nothing else like it for its time

It’s always OK when mobsters get murdered.
Not so much when innocents do.
            Then there is payback.
Even so the murdering Ghost Dog gets murdered and that makes it all OK.

Brilliant movie! The only time I can say Jim Jarmusch finally got his **** together. Another film I recommend that's along the lines is The Limey with Terence Stamp.

                  I liked Stranger Then Paradise.
I see that you didn’t care for it.
                  That’s OK.
I like movies that reflect real life even when they may be too slow paced for some.
And I like the mix ups in it.

One Jim Jarmusch movie that worked for me in parts is Coffee and Cigarettes.

Isn't it a spoof movie? I don't think plot holes or logic were really a concern to the writers.

This is true and may help the lame ending be more tolerable.

It makes sense with plot holes. That was the point .
