I hope you had some time to reflect on what you did.
Ok, so freshman year. I was 14. My friend was spending the night at my house, and one of his friends, who was supposedly 16, whom I never met, was coming by to pick us up who was going to have alcohol he stole from his parents.
My parents knew about this, but they decided to change her mind at the last minute. She said we weren't going out with a boy she never met in a car. But it was too late at that point; the boy was already on his way. My mother can't be rude and change her mind on us at the last minute.
So boy comes, honks. My friend and I rush out of the house. My ma sees us and runs out, gets in front of the car. I said "Go Go!" and the person's car hit my mother's knees.
We picked up two other girls, friends from school, and drove all around town. We pulled over in a parking lot and drank.
One of the girls, 14, got crazy tipsy. She wanted to drive, and the driver thought this would be a wonderful idea.
We're driving on the highway, it's about 1 AM, not too much traffic, thank the stars. She's swerving like crazy. Then I see it before it happens, in slow motion. She smashes into the center median.
She's sobbing and crying. We pull over, and a stranger sees us. He helps us change the tire. Car is still driveable, only a flat tire. No cops were called.
Original driver drop the girls off first, then my friend, and then goes to drop me off last, and their are cops in my driveway. Turns out my ma called the police on us. Little did she know we also got in the accident from being drunk, too.
So all the parents knew about this by this point. The cops were also visiting them.
My mother had two bruised knees. The cops asked me what I knew about the driver. I said, he's 16…
They said, "No. He's 14." Turns out the guy was 14, and stole the car from his parents. My friend didn't tell me that although he knew. It made it look like I was lying to the police.
My friend and I weren't allowed to see each other again.
Until a month later, when we went to a Rob Zombie concert for which we already had tickets. Our parents had talked and agreed they'll let us to go this, but only if they drop it off and pick us up right when it ends.
My mother drops us off. His mother would pick us up. When we left the concert, we couldn't find her car. This was unusual, as we expected her to get their early. We walked around the block, and nothing.
This was before we had cell phones, so we're searching for a pay phone. Now I'm worried that my parents are going to think I left somewhere after the concert.
Now it's about an hour after the concert ends. My friend calls his dad from a pay phone. The dad answers, telling him that his mother left over two hours ago to pick him up. Now, the dad is confused, as well. He can't call her, because again, no cell phone. His dad said he'll come to pick us up and that if his mother shows up first, to tell her that dad's coming.
And that's when the dad discovered the nightmare on the way to get us.
He finally showed up to pick us up with some horrible news we weren't expecting. His mother had died in a fatal car accident by a drunk driver who ran a red light. And more, it was a famous professional athlete who did it.
So many emotions were going through my mind, especially considering how close my mother was going to be the one to pick us up, and his mother drop off.
That was the last night we ever hung out. -

yeah but not in the same way as the real cool bitches were. it was more like everyone thought i was cool and geeky weird at the same time for some reason and liked me bc i was also into drugs LOL - Were you in choir?

no but i had habitual truancy and a court ordered therapist (i ran away from home at one point cuz my mother was a bitch) - Would you go back?

i would literally wake up during lunch, go to school for lunch and leave the rest of the day to chill wit my mates - Go to all the football games?

a lot of them ended up sucking, and i'm not really close with many but the ones i'm still cool with i have unending appreciation for. - Who was your favorite teacher?
lit class teacher, Fr. M. who single-handedly talked me back into continuing school after i ran away from home 2 months before graduation hahaha but she was also literally the best teacher in all of HS besides maybe Fr. G., my history and art class teacher. i'm still in touch occasionally, very loosely tho, with both. - What was your style?
black-ish clothes, hoodies and leggings. black adidas with white stripes. i was a dark kid. - What were your favorite shoes?

i still love this type of shoes, like sneakers, and especially from adidas but i'm a slip-on type of girl now (Vans) - Favorite thing to eat in the cafeteria?

i cut like half my hair off cuz i was insane over this boy leaving me. so i had the asymmetrical cut for a while. but no wannabe scene bangs lmao. senior year i did beige for the bottom half, then natural brown with red tips, then purple, then teal. for "graduation dance" (i know it sounds ghey, but it's German "prom night", after we were done with everything and already got our grad certificate) i had brighten up my hair to light brown, then i let it outgrow and went natural during most of the summer i think - What kind of perfume/cologne?
whatever i came across LOL. i had one called Grace, forget the brand's name but they're still popular. really liked that Christina Aguilera one, i think it's called Unforgettable. and i had a coconut water mist from VS. otherwise idr - Year you graduated?
