I was really dissapointed to hear that BBC weren't going to release anymore GH dvds after series 4. So I was really happy to find that a fan had taken the trouble to upload every episode on youtube. I've spent the last few months watching from series 5 onward and on Sunday got to series 17. Today I signed on to find that due to a complaint from BBC WORLDWIDE they're all gone. BBC have stated that they won't be releasing it on dvd so who was this uploader hurting?

Go to Dailymotion.co.uk, and type in Grange Hill, followed by the series number.

Have you tried www.uktvbox.co.uk. If not go to www.ioffer.com and you can buy them on there

The BBC are hogs. They clearly wasn't losing out financially were they? Not enough people bought the DVD's so no further series were scheduled for release, so why, why, WHY would they remove these videos?
Sadistic sods.

The problem is that it was not necessarily Grange Hill that caused it. In the case of both Youtube, and Dailymotion the users had put a lot of other programs up as well and had their entire accounts shut down

Unfortunately you can no longer download the files that are sourced from 'Dailymotion'. You van download the youtube videos using the download function on real player (it works best with IE). Then you will need a video conversion program to change from flash to DVD. I use 'avs converter' (but you have to pay for it). It is however worth looking on the net for a freeware one.
