Looks to have been sourced from tape, not sure about framing as it looks wrong but I suppose the movie could have been filmed that way, and you get two versions (R-rated and a 'Euro' print) of the film.
    Anyone else have the DVD?

I recently bought the Retro-Seduction DVD and was a bit disappointed that the film is presented fullscreen rather than widescreen. However, I love the fact that you get two different versions of the same film (the European print is especially racy and sexy, with the sequence between Snow White and the seven dwarves qualifying as a real jaw-dropping highlight). The trailer gallery is nice, too. Cool liner notes as well. And producer Sam Sherman's commentary is typically informative and entertaining. I purchased the DVD at a horror convention for only ten bucks, so for the money I spent it was a sound buy.

I, too, was disappointed by the transfer. Nor did I care for the lame excuse given on the commentary track as to why this was done. OTOH we're talking abuot an exploitation title and this sort of release is par for the course with the exploitation mindset.
At least the movie is much better than most exploitation sci-fi from the period, so there's that. Not to mention the male lead went on to do many bit parts in various Star Trek series and, did you notice, that's Master-Blaster (Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome) playing the lead dwarf during the Snow White scene!

is there any nudity in this?
Yes. Slightly more in the European version.
