This is one of Band's best ever films and he should damn well release it on DVD theres no reason why we have a lavish set for the 5 trancers movies and nothing for this!!

Well, I do have 3 original PAL-format VHS tapes of CRASH! from England. It was released in the UK on VCL Video in 1983. Can't find any other homevideo releases for CRASH!
Don't know what sort of rights issues there must be holding up its latter-day release . . . but it must be something.
Anyway if you can play PAL VHS tapes then you might want to hunt down a copy.

I've never seen this film. And I guess not many people these days have either.
Also, Charles Band doesn't own Distribution Rights. I don't know who owns this film.

Dear wallacesawyer: HI, mate. I though ol' Charlie Band owned the distribution rights to 'CRASH!' but since he doesn't I guess it's in limbo.
Even so I do still have my 3 PALs of it from England. It was released on VCL Video in 1983, by the way. So I reckon I'm lucky enough to be able to watch it whenever I want.
You know, w-s, the only reason I bought up the three videos of it was because I didn't have to pay a lot for them. Perhaps because the movie isn't seen anymore no one thinks to look for it. It wasn't that difficult for me to round up the 3 original VCL videos.
Perhaps someday the movie might be released on DVD providing there is still a useable print or two!
Imagine if a DVD release had to come from an old VCL PAL tape! Yowza.
          Regards, CARTER GORMAN
(Now I have to edit this Post on 10/28/08 'cuz I had to throw away 1 of my 3 PAL tapes of 'CRASH!' due to mold issues. Bummer).

Some might get is confused with the Oscar winning CRASH film too.

It's finally been released on DVD by Full Moon. Extras are a making of retrospective documentary and a commentary by Charles Band.
