      Looks like an HD transfer.

Oh my, they cut out the line where the lie detector guy where the lie detector guy talked about Alice's chest and said he thought she wanted him to feel her up. I wonder if the cut is on the transfer itself or if TCM decided to cut it.

They also cut out the part of Dom hitting the ground after being pushed from the bell tower. Don't know whyit wasn't
          that
          violent (and it
          is
          after midnight).
Yeah, they're dead, they'reall messed up!

My bet is that TCM received a pre-edited master for TV/cable without realizing it.

There are also cuts to the violence. I think TCM was provided with a master meant for basic cable, pre edited.

I watched it last nightIt was on earlier on the Pacific Coast.
Anyhow, this is the 2nd time I saw it. What a weird movie. Couple of things fun to see were the fashions and "decour" from that Era, especially. (eg: all that WALLPAPER!)

Too cut for "R". PG-13 at best.
Never saw it before, but cuts were obvious.

That sucks that TCM aired an edited version. Last night was my first time seeing the movie, which I thought was good, so it is disheartening to know that there was more to it. I didn't know TCM edited movies. I was always under the impression that TCM aired theatrical releases only.

TCM showed the version called Communion and I believe the Alice Sweet Alice rerelease is the uncut one.

TCM would not edit it themselves. They were provided with an edited master (without thier knowledge presumably)
