Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — New York, New York

    OneFilmLover — 14 years ago(April 12, 2011 07:04 PM)

Was browsing the release calender at Bluray.com & came across this little gem.
    http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/New-York-New-York-Blu-ray/22771/
Looks like the next Scorsese title we'll released on the great new format is New York, New York. Makes sense actually. I bought the Raging Bull:30th Anniversary Edition & on one of the new special features there were some fresh & sharp looking clips from New York, New York- another MGM release.
Bluray.com was where the first inklings of the new Taxi Driver BD peaked up so I would not be surprised to hear this be officially announced soon.
With Scorsese's Hugo Cabret coming out this November I bet we're going to see A LOT of Scorsese BluRays come out this year & I can't wait!
Personally, I'm hoping we'll get After Hours & Bringing Out the Dead on BD soon.
There. It's on the Internet. Thus it's official

This announcement lists the running time at 155 minutes.
The complete running time of the restored "New York, New York" is 163 minutes.
I'll contact them and post here later.
