Is this the same movie with the following shots:
1)Person (girlperhaps) skiing down slope, beast steps out into middle of slope and kills skiier.
2)A dead body is found crammed into a barrel in a small wooden shed
3)A wooden cabin is discovered to be full of dead people possibly skinned and hanging from the ceiling.
It probably isnt the same because I doubt they would do all that on a tv movie. Does anybody have a clue what movie I am takling about if not this one?
It was the first scary movie I can recall ever seeing and I want to figure it out and buy it. Thanks for any help.

Actually, this is the movie. The monster was using this shed/cabin to store his food (the murder victims).
And you're right, being that this is an American made-for-TV movie, they couldn't show anything too graphic. But they show just enough so you know what's going on.

The little boy saw someone inside a water container probably a barrel and the Dad goes in to have a look, finds a corpse and makes a face. The audience gets to see nothing more.

It's not a barrel but a water trough, and we do see a very brief shot of a bloody arm. I don't remmeber the corpses hanging from the ceiling though. I don't recall there being that many actual victims in this one (3 or 4 maybe).
Perhaps the one with the hanging corpses was "Shriek of the Mutilated." That one I have not seen but it did have both a Bigfoot/Yeti and cannibalism. I can say for sure that the movie in question is not any of these:
            Curse of Bigfoot
            Demonwarp
            Capture of Bigfoot
            Creature from Black Lake
            Legend of Boggy Creek
These are all Bigfoot movies I have seen, and no hanging corpses in any of them.

              That's quite a list!
I'll have to watch this title again as I don't remember much about the details.
