I learned about this movie through Tangerine Dream's soundtrack, I watched it recently it's a pity the soundtrack wassn't used properly and it's in very few places.
I liked the tone of the movie great production and cinematography but it wasnt treated properly, great acting and characters but they wasted too much time on pointless things and the movie got a bit tedious, the most amazing scene is the bridge crossing.

William Friedkin said that TD delivered over 7 hours of music and he culled it to this. The holy grail of TD music would be if the movie production company ever decided to release the rest or at least give it back to TD.

This is disgusting, studio execs are blood suckers they ruined Giger's creation too.
