I only ever saw one episode of this series (it was on during my parents' time), but I still laugh over the tornado warning that one guy had to give, hehe.
From what my dad told me, this show took place in Ohio, which is unfortunately on the edge of Tornado Alley, so it's not unusual to have twisters there in spring and summer.
Now in the episode he showed me, the radio station had to broadcast a tornado warning, but they didn't have a script for it. The only warning script they had was for a Chinese Communist invasion, lol! So the boss of the station tells this wimpy little nerd guy to take the Chinese commie script and use that, but every time it says "communist," he was to substitute the word "tornado" instead.
It sounded sooooo messed up when he broadcast that warning script! rofl! -

I remember that episode. That really was a funny one. Of course, the one that most of us remember is the famous Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway episode. That one seems to be the one that most folks bring up when talking about WKRP. If you should ever get the chance, watch that one.
