So she’s a bitchy/difficult customer in real life so what? Lots of people are.
We’re all human beings and we all have our good and our bad qualities.
I did enjoy AJ’s parody thread. Made me laugh. You’d think it’s an exaggeration but there are people out there just like that.
When I was 18 I worked at McDonald’s for 9 months. I was at the front picking orders and this lady shows up and immediately gives me attitude. She tells me she wants the nuggets for her son to all be dark meat. Back then nuggets were a mix of dark meat and white meat. She knew somehow that there was a way we could tell which were which prior to putting them on the fryer. The dark meat nugget s had a dark spot on their side. How she knew this I don’t know but I made sure I told the cook she wanted dark meat only. She then told me that they would always mess up her orders and she wasn’t having that today.
I give her her order exactly as she asked for it and she thanked me and said she was impressed. From then on she started coming to me to place her order and she’d tell the other customers around her how careful and how good I was at preparing orders.
My point is that difficult customers became difficult from bad experiences and although they shouldn’t take it out on everyone they are beneficial in a way as they make other employees better at their job.
