Thanks for the background info, Sam. Maybe ShoutFactory has better lawyers for getting those music rights. But then how do they pay for them with a less than 6,000% profit margin?
I can only conclude I'm paying off karma at a vastly accelerated rate. -

I am aware that the particular profit margin I listed is most likely hyperbole, but it was funny hyperbole, was it not? If you can't have fun with the flimsy excuses to be found in the various arenas of the entertainment industry, then you just aren't trying hard enough. Oh, by the way, the bit about your karma, remember that it isn't the principal, it is the interest that will kill you, or even the lack thereof. Just a skewed thought from a skewed mind. As for the info on Shout, you are more than welcome.

It's hard to get across that I "got it" in text but, yes, I thought 6,000% was probably made up. I thought it was cute but then I thought I was being cute too.
Speaking of cute, I never thought about my sig line like that so tell me, who sets the APR for karma?

I felt you were being cute as well, and doing so quite wonderfully and deliciously. I just felt a need to match your cute with some cute of my own. As for the karmic APR, that is just another one of the wonderful things the universe has decided to keep a mystery from us. Of course you could always have a Velma moment and try to solve it, but you would probably go through your supply of Scooby snacks in the process. Here's hoping your day is as great as you wish it to be.

lol, thanks, Sam. I don't often get compliments on my internet demeanor. I'm not online enough to get a lot of practice at it. Good to know I'm "wonderful and delicious." I feel a little like a scooby snack now.

Good for you. You should treat yourself at least once a day. Have a Scooby snack. Have six. It works for Scooby and Shaggy, it should work for you. Have a great day.

You can watch quite a few WKRP episodes (with the original music) here:

I bought the complete series DVD set recently for about $62. I think it was worth it! I loved this show, as it aired when I was in middle school and my early years of high school.
I'd be very happy to be myself if I could remember who I am. Who am I? -

When I was working at Walmart back in 2007, I bought the season 1 DVD when it came out. But I waited patiently for the whole series to come out on DVD as a box set and got it all from Amazon.com a few weeks ago, and I just finished watching the last episode. I probably watched at least 3 episodes a day once I got that box set. I'm watching the reunion show on the extras disc now. Loni Anderson is 71 years old now, and I don't know how old she was when this was filmed, but she looks great for her age!

Loni Anderson just turned 71 yesterday (August 05th), she would have been 33 when this premiered in September of '78. It's hard to believe this show premiered 38 years ago next month. I can still remember when it first premiered, I was only 11 1/2 years old.
I don't know what they have to say. It makes no difference anyway. Whatever it is, I'm against it.
