The Halloween board is like Church on Christmas and Easter

This is a nearly 40 year old movie that is based around a holiday. Around that holiday is when most fans watch it. Same goes for any popular movie based on a particular time of year or day of the year. See Home Alone board in late December.

This thread sums up better than I ever could, everything that's wrong with the attitude of our "expert".
In his reality, he's the
true
HALLOWEEN fan here (despite preferring the sequel) who knows more about the film than anyone else, has all the correct theories about events in the film, has a better grasp of the film than anyone else and has more right to claim ultimate authority on this board because he's here every day.
He can also behave however he likes because he's been here 12 years and has EARNED that right.
These people showing up once a year at holiday time and even those a little more regular are just guests here.
In his reality, this is HIS board.
And Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all. -

So, what this d!ckbag is trying to tell me who started the topic is that if I don't get on IMDb Halloween message boards and post everyday like him, I'm not a fan? I got sh!t to do and don't have time to rifle through all the different movies' message boards and replay to the varying threads about theories on Michael Myers, the town of Haddonfield, the Cult of Thorn, which version of a movie is better.
And don't tell me I'm no fan of the series because I have an account here and don't use it to voice my thoughts as soon as I get them about Halloween. I've been watching these movies since 1988 and I'm 31 now. Watch the original Limited Edition 1978 version on the 30th or actual Halloween night. I can even tell you how many times "totally" is said in it.
Do us all a favor, and go see a proctologist. He might be able to remove the stick from your ass. -

I can imagine how many fans don't post regularly
because
of the little turd.
He never starts a thread. Instead of actually saying anything original or interesting, he starts one today so that he can tell visitors that it's his board. What a twerp.

There's a lot of people who used to post here who haven't been here in ages, and I'd say a lot of it has to do with him and his obnoxious behavior.
Like the poster above said, maybe some of these new people might have wanted to stay only to be told they aren't
real
fans because they don't spend every day here saying, "agreed", or "Annie is the worst".
Don't call it a comeback. I've been here for years. -

Look how dead it is, the NEXT DAY. Last night, I was on the 3rd page of 25 topics. 25 per page, you understand, I have it set up as. And today, 7 topics into the second page only. Fake fans. You guys do not understand. I like that it's busy. But, when it's overly busy, where someone like me who is here every day, can't keep up with the volume, it's annoying. I have things to do too, you know. Work, other boards, a gf, believe it or not. And I don't have all day to spend on one board when I have several others to check up on. I was on just the Halloween board last night for 4 hours! Until 4 in the morning. That's not common. And it's also annoying when you see the same dumb topics, over, and, over again. How many times are we gonna have "It was the boogeyman" posts, or "Bob's line is disturbing about Lindsay", or whatever. Its tiresome seeing the same Damn questions over and over again. Either come here often and be apart of the Halloween community, or don't bother coming around at all.

I know its not all day but four hours on one board? If you didn't want to do it you would have split. Stop complaining about it like it was a major chore. If this is the worst thing you have going on in your life then I'd say you're doing pretty good.

I was about to blast on you again cj for attacking fans coming here, no matter what time of the year it is, and expressing their appreciation for the movie that is considered one of the grandfathers of the slasher genre. However, I think what I'll do instead is help you out.
So you say you also don't have time to juggle your personal life with this internet board, that's understandable. You're tired of the mundane topics people would come up with such as Bob's line about ripping off Lindsey's clothes, I get that too. I have a solution for you that'll be to your's and everyone's liking.
Start your own Halloween series message board website. There are numerous ones to pick from that are free and easy to set up. I no doubt know for a fact you probably have at least one or two friends on here who shares your views that can join and help you set it up. If that all doesn't float your boat and proves too difficult for you to come up with on your own, find one. They are out there and would appreciate your input.
This is all because people who come to IMDb are general fans. "Oh, I just watched Halloween on AMC. Michael just killed Lester the dog. I don't agree with that! I'm going to look it up and see who else doesn't or post an OT about it if none exists." See? A private message board dedicated to the series wouldn't have someone coming in to say just that dumb topic.
It's a win-win for you. You don't p!ss off everyone who doesn't watch the movie six times a day and post here four hours, then belittle people who come here for whatever observation they made. And they don't p!ss you off for not living up to your rediculous standards.
