I was about to blast on you again cj for attacking fans coming here, no matter what time of the year it is, and expressing their appreciation for the movie that is considered one of the grandfathers of the slasher genre. However, I think what I'll do instead is help you out.
So you say you also don't have time to juggle your personal life with this internet board, that's understandable. You're tired of the mundane topics people would come up with such as Bob's line about ripping off Lindsey's clothes, I get that too. I have a solution for you that'll be to your's and everyone's liking.
Start your own Halloween series message board website. There are numerous ones to pick from that are free and easy to set up. I no doubt know for a fact you probably have at least one or two friends on here who shares your views that can join and help you set it up. If that all doesn't float your boat and proves too difficult for you to come up with on your own, find one. They are out there and would appreciate your input.
This is all because people who come to IMDb are general fans. "Oh, I just watched Halloween on AMC. Michael just killed Lester the dog. I don't agree with that! I'm going to look it up and see who else doesn't or post an OT about it if none exists." See? A private message board dedicated to the series wouldn't have someone coming in to say just that dumb topic.
It's a win-win for you. You don't p!ss off everyone who doesn't watch the movie six times a day and post here four hours, then belittle people who come here for whatever observation they made. And they don't p!ss you off for not living up to your rediculous standards. -

Haha I am kind of guilty of this. Its an annual tradition for me to watch Halloween and Halloween 2 around Halloween. And I do this to Friday the 13th too when Fri 13th comes around. I work in NOES when I need a good horror fix when its not Halloween or the 13th and work in RedTube when I need a good whore fix.

Perhaps if you left earlier you wouldn't have to stand? It's also worth noting that you waste a good Sunday morning, and some evenings (Christmas eve, Easter) to enter an old building to stand anyway with other strangers just to bow your head and talk to yourself with nothing to show for it but a nasty cracker and tap water and for free and of your own volition. All of this, in the hopes that your invisible friend guides you and helps you through your everyday hardships, like tying your shoes and not straining yourself too much on the toilet, and maybe, just maybe, mom won't be a pesky boner killer and doing laundry while you're making a deposit in your spank bank.
Yes, who needs all that "brotherly love" crap that Jesus supposedly preached about, after all it is you that's being inconvenienced and having to stand. I know that kills your entire night. Because Jesus was depicted as being comfortable and happy nailed to that cross. But you, you're going through a real ordeal! Other people? Pfft!
You're here everyday, and add so much to this board. Not a day goes by where your presence isn't known or duly noted. You're here, having never owned or have seen any of these movies on Blu-ray or HD, never met anyone involved with the films, don't own any novelty shirts, posters, or have visited the shooting locations but you possess superior knowledge about this series that none of us with an internet connection and DVDs/Blu-rays of the series haven't figured out on our own. You're the expert, you appointed yourself so, and can't be questioned or challenged on anything, because hey, cjh8504.
Stay pissed off, mental midget. It's people like you who bring shame on this country. Any Canadians want to harbor an American refugee? I'm tired of being surrounded by unintelligent, mouth-breathing blowhards. -
