It's weird to see the original Kirk mask before modification.

There was multiple ones used in the original as well. I'm just talking about as far as the movies are concerned he's only supposed to be wearing one mask.

Yes I know the mask for Myers was the same one for both 1 & 2But I was talking they were other captain Kirk mask in Halloween IIBen Tramer & if I am not mistaken, one was used for the fire

I always found the original mask to be very creepy. I'm not so sure I would have been affected by this movie as much had the mask not been as creepy as it was.

I found the mask uniquely eerie more so than scary. But above all that, I found it very very cool along with the coveralls.
I think it was how
cool
Myers looked in the mask and costume more so than how scary that got my attention initially - along of course with how well executed and effective the movie was.
And Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all. -

Actually it's the music that is the true winner in scariness - You can add the scariest masks, the biggest kills, all the scare jumpers in Halloween,but without a brilliant score any horror films won't work
