It's weird to see the original Kirk mask before modification.

Actually it's the music that is the true winner in scariness - You can add the scariest masks, the biggest kills, all the scare jumpers in Halloween, but without a brilliant score any horror films won't work

Popactor,
I asked on another thread if the theme would be scary out of context. I always associate it with the movie but wondered if anyone just happened to hear the theme first and got creeped out or not. -

i think if he dressed up like this it would have been much more scary:

his outfit lacked energy, panache.

I think my dad found it pretty scary when I stuck the one I had which just has the hair molded into the rubber mask onto the Michael Myers prop I made thats my size 6'5-6'6 an used to stick it standing in the hallway with all the lights off when he'd wake up at like 3-4am to get ready for work

It's the best. Modified, perfect for Cundey and his use of shadows and dimmer switches etc. It's always terrified me. Part 2 doesn't bother as much as it used to. Most scenes cover enough with the darkness to hide to the wear and tear.
On another note, Part 6 is the next best in the use of the Mask and the film itself is my 3rd Favorite in the Series after 1 and 2.
