I know this is just a late 70's sleazy horror movie with stupid dialogue and bad acting, and I love it for that. Had a great time watching it, as I do all of these kind of movies. I know it's kinda pointless to point out something like this in such a moviebut there's something so incredibly, outrageously, staggeringly stupid that happensit's a different kind of stupid than regular fun bad-horror-movie-stupid. It stands out as something that is stupid in a really annoying way, not in a fun way like the stupid dialogue, acting, etc. I just want to know if anyone else is bugged by this: The girl is tied up and gagged on the bed. The brother is outside and looks through the window above the bed and sees her tied up and gagged. Wouldn't you think he should MAYBE TELL THE POLICE THAT SHE'S TIED UP IN THAT APARTMENT AND IF THEY NEED PROOF THEY CAN LOOK THROUGH THE WINDOW?????? Instead, he talks to the detective and says nothing about what he saw. And then he tells the nephew that he thinks his uncle is the killer (showing him the tools for evidence) and the nephew burns him alive. I looked back at the window scene, thinking maybe I was zoning out and saw it wrongmaybe he didn't see her. But he definitely saw her. It just makes my head hurt how incredibly stupid that is. Again, I love bad 70's-80's horror movies and this one was lots of fun. I just can't get over this thing with the window scene and I wanted to know if it had this effect on anyone else.

Seriously? Wow. I can't believe I missed that. I don't have the movie on DVR anymore to go back and see, but I believe you. I wasn't 100% sober when I watched it so that might explain the mistaken identity. Thanks for the reply.

Did you even finish watching it?? First of all that's not her brother. It's the nephew of the killer. And at the end of the movie the nephew turns out to be crazy too. He kills his uncle and rapes the girl. So there is a reason he doesn't tell anybody.
