That the funniest thing I've ever heard ! Vipco are renowned for releasing banned movies yes, but most are all cut to shreads.A bit of advice usually vipco have something like "previously banned in the U.K" printed on there dvd covers. This does'nt mean it's uncut If it says something like "for the first time in the U.K released uncut" then and only then will a Vipco release be uncut.

What about Island of Death thats cut to shreads. If you are unsure about these film being uncut just check out the BBFC website, but let me give you some advice. Don't look at the movies run time to justify the film as being uncut. Read the items description it will tell you the label it's released on and format too.

In my oppinion Vipco is a horrible label.
Nearly everything they release is cut to shreads.
The sound and picture quality is terrible on Vipco, they seriously need to pull there figer out especially now High Def seems to be takeing off, it's like watching old pre-certs!
I own 1 Vipco release and thats Shogun Assassin. -

Maybe your right. Yes S A is totally uncut. It states on the front of the case "Banned since 1983" "Previously banned" "Uncut version"
On the back of the case it says "This version banned since 1983-is at long last approved UNCUT!" -

It's only cut to this very day because noone has submitted an uncut release to the BBFC. Until that time comes, the only release that can be released legally in the UK is the exact version that was rated 18 in 2000 with the cuts. I am in no doubt that this movie would pass in flying colors uncut today.
I'm going to invent a new topping for pizza. Wish me luck.
