Can you remember any SPECIFIC funny scenes??

The funniest scenes involved Les Lye, who played all the male characters (Barth, Dad, teacher, etc.)
In one skit, the family is in a hot air balloon and their sinking. They need more hot air in the balloon, so the son asks the dad to read his speech to the Senate. There was a running gag where the slovenly father worked as a Senator.
There was another where father and son are home and the fire alarm goes off.
Dad: What happened? Is there a fire?
Son: No, the cat peed on the rug.
Dad: Again? Is there anything that doesn't set off the fire alarm?
Son: It doesn't go off when there's a fire.
Dad: Here. Have some matches. Go start a fire so I can sleep.
Another skit had a kid washing the family's dishes. He was just about done, when the father comes in with a HUGE pile of dishes from his evening snack. I remember that because my dad always brought me an extra glass or dish when I was washing dishes. -

It's not a skit but there's an episode that really sticks out in my mind. I recall an episode where you could "vote" by pressing a green or red square on the TV screen. I bet a lot of kids out there were fooled by it.
I'm not sure if it's in the same episode but still laugh when I think about the "smellivision" skit. -

The only things I can remember about this show was when people got slimed. It was green slime if anyone said 'I don't know' (I think) and black slime for something else (I can't recall what they had to say to get black slime). I sort of remembered other things after reading some posts on here. I used to think this show was a bit strange but funny at the same time.

I specifically remember one of the execution sketches. They always began the same way. There would be a kid standing at a wooden post and the commander standing next to him with a sword. And the first few lines of dialogue were always the same.
Commander: ReadyAim
Kid: Wait a minute wait a minute! Stop the execution!
Commander: What is it this time?
The kid would then usually ask a question about the amigos (the off-screen firing squad). He and the commander would have a conversation while the commander paces back and forth in front of the kid while talking until in the course of the conversation the kid tricks the commander into saying the word "fire" (the only English word the amigos understand) and the commander gets shot. There were other times when the kid's tactics didn't work and the sketch ended the same way it began.
Commander: ReadyAim
Anyway, this particular sketch was from the technology-themed episode, and the kid asked the commander what the amigos were holding. The commander told him that the amigos were using new laser guns, instead of the usual rifles. And then the kid asks about what will happen when the laser cuts right through him and hits the post. The commander then says something like "I suppose the post will catch on fire." Then you hear the sound of laser beams firing instead of bullets.
Being inconsistent is better than being consistently bad. -

The kid who asked about the laser guns was in another episode.
The technology episode showed another kid with chosing between the green or the red square if he's saved or he'll be executed. Someone posted the episode on Youtube, it's at 5:41 in this episode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxXb1cM5ufg -

Mostly I just remember the water/slime/paint being dumped on the characters each time they said those words. At least, I think that those were the three words they had to avoid saying.

The classroom sketch where the teacher talks about looking at the class photo in the future. He was making insulting remarks on where the kids would be ala "Look at "so and so" he's in jail" and one replies "Look at teacher, he's dead!" Funny though I suppose a little less so since Les did die.

My contribution to an eleven year old thread, lol
I recall that Christine hosted an entire episode while taking a bath. It's safe to assume that she's not really nude, of course, but in the context of the show she's supposed to be. We don't actually see any water, just a lot of suds covering her up. At one point someone comes along and starts (supposedly) drinking the water, and Christine interrupts him, saying that if he drinks too much, they'll be taken off the air (because her body would be seen). It always struck me funny that she's more concerned about the show being taken off the air than the fact that her own nude body would be the reason.
Then at the end of the show, she pulls the plug, and is sucked down the drain.
