MY GOD! Yes, finally someone who remembers the Third Eye! I have been trying to find info on that show for a long time. I remember that the show was a bunch of serial pieces. The one I remember the most was the Stonehenge one, where the people of this small farming village would look at a light or something and turn into stone. I vaguely remember one that was in an underground cavern, with a small, raised labyrinth on the floor, and the kids had to walk around it or something. It's been a long time, sorry if my memory isn't so good. Please, if ANYONE has ANY info on this show, let me know.

Pinwheel, Pinwheel Spining around..
these were all great shows. I remember not being able to go to summer camp so i use to watch "Salute Your Shorts" every day and it was like going to camp without all the bordem. I also use to get up early in the am to catch Mr. Wizard. Nick also showed some Bill Plympton cartoons too. There was also David the Gnome. and does anyone remember that cartoon about the boy that lived one the moon or a planet of some sort that had a single rose growing on it with a glass case around it. He would catch shooting stars with his net and travel some where different.
Camp An-a-wan-a..

Speaking of Fifteen, Laura Harris, who played Ashley, was in The Faculty, had a brief appearance in IT, and was on season two of 24.
Is it just me, or is it funny to have a pop-up Kama Sutra? -

ahhh! memories! i was addicted to all the shows, especially you can't do that on tv, hey dude and fifteen. i remember watching a movie with ryan reynolds, and i remember thinking, this guy looks familiar to me. i imdbed him and sure enough he was from the fifteen days.
i watched all the shows from the time i got home from school until about 8 or 9 p.m. when i went to bed. i miss some of the old tv shows they played on nick at night (donna reed show, laugh in, mr. ed, etc). now, they play old '80s shows like cheers and cosby, which are great too, but they need to tap back further.
i agree that a classic nick should come one and play the same line ups from way back when (early nick and early nick at night). -

Oh my gosh you almost brought tears to my eyes. I had forgotten why I loved Nickelodeon so much as a kid! To see it now you would never know how great it used to be. I vaguely remember Out of Control; I've been trying to remember the name and premise of that show for years but all my mind could come up with was Wild and Crazy Kids and I always KNEW that wasn't the show I was trying to think of. Thank you for that.
Pinwheel and Today's Special were the best children's shows of all time. -

oh my god. i completely forgot about the "sports cartoon". I remember most of the shows you mentioned, but only after reading some of them on your list. My memory has completely come back on a lot of this stuff i thought i had forgotten. that cartoon you mentioned about the hippo and the cat; that was such a strange and pointless cartoon but they aired it a whole lot. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I am reading about a classic nick channel on these boards. Is this really in the works or already airing? How can i subscribe to it?

How about (dating myself here) The Mysterious Cities Of Gold, Spartacus and The Sun Beneath the Sea, or gasp! Banannaman! Adventures of the little koala, the Little Prince, or even Belle and Sebastian! I really hope someone from Nick reads these things and SERIOUSLY considers a classic nick channel. Lineups can be chosen online by fans or something.

I used to pretend to be Jeff when I was a kid! I had his hat and everything. When it fell off my head, I wouldn't move until you put it back on. That's what my mom told me. Check this out: http://www.schuminw eb.com/todays-specia l/
I'm not even supposed to be here today -

Oh, the memories! I fondly remember coming home after school, eating a bowl of cereal, and watching Nickelodeon.
Does anyone else remember The Adventures of Black Beauty? I haven't seen that show mentioned on this thread. I have ridden horses since I was little, so I LOVED that show. I watched them over and over again and pretty much had all the lines memorized. The show was filmed in such beautiful areas of England.
I also loved You Can't Do That On Television, Mr. Wizard, Pinwheel, Out of Control, and Today's Special. There was a cool show called Livewire that was aimed more towards teenagers. I vaguely remember The Third Eye, Double Dare, Belle and Sebastian, and Special Delivery.
What about the stuff they showed to fill up time before the next show started? I remember one segment about following a treasure map on an island and another one about the moons around a planet.
