Can't recall the name of this show since I was a pretty little kid when it aired. I believe it was on nickelodeon but could be wrong. It was a live action fake news show and the actors were adults. I have a vague memory of someone broadcasting from a bubblegum mine. Anybody know what I mean? Of course, maybe my little kid brain is just making things up.

      Maybe it was
      Out of Control
. News reporters were Diz (who made hersel up like early-mid 1980's Cyndi Lauper), Hern Berford (who reminded me of Herb on WKRP in Cincinnati) (sp?) and Angela (who I seem to recall did almost as good a Tarzan yell as Carol Burnett. The show was headed up by Dave Coulier who was the host. I don't think it was purely a news show though, to my recollection. I really miss this show though, as well as YCDTOT and
      Turkey TV
. Nickelodeon was the best back then by far.

Yes, that's definitely the show! Thank you so much. Now if only I could find it on dvd.
