Alien 3 or Alien Resurrection?

"Alien" by a landslide. "Resurrection" should never have been made. It was a goofy, gooey, gory mess of a movie. Dan Hedaya saluting? Winona Ryder an android? Intergalactic biker gang types? A Ripley/Xeno hybrid? Really?

Alien 3 has its definite flaws, but I feel it is the better of the two movies. Alien Resurrection had a few good sequences, but it was to all over the place. Why didn't the guy shake the alien off his foot! Hybrid human-xeno? Burning wires opens doors that didn't exist 5 seconds ago? The last one is a small one but, watch the movie and count how many times little bs happens that make no sense Alien 3, I won't list your flaws today, but you win!

Alien 3 cannot be considered canon after what it did to the survivors of Aliens, but the Assembly Cut is really quite good, so it works
if
you consider it a really nasty, grungey hypersleep dream of Ripley’s. But that’s all.
Resurrection is just too awful to be taken seriously in any way. The aliens look good, and there are one or two cool sequences, but it’s total junk food, and the idea of bringing Ripley back as a ‘clone’ is ridiculous. Sigourney is to blame for killing her off in Alien 3, then when her career predictably tanked she was like ‘yeah actually I’ll come back as a clone, sure’

The story ends with Aliens, similar to how the Terminator saga ends with T2.
