It's one of the funniest films ever made, with the possible exception of
Dr. Strangelove
(also starring Sellers). It's a very clever satire about how people project all of their hopes onto non-entities in their lives, in mass culture, and in politics.

Yes, but you need to watch it. One of my favourite films. Hope you get something out of it.
