Anyone who knows me knows what a huge car nut I am. When I was a little kid, my favorite car was my father's 1982 Plymouth Champ. Now here's the question. The Plymouth Champ came out in 1979. I heard a rumor more from more than one source that the Champ got its name because it appeared in this movie. I watched it and never really noticed the car. Has anyone else heard this?
