In this movie, there was a large farmhand character played by Max Fairchild. He was also in 'Road Warrior', playing a different character, however In the "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" movie, Max fights a masked giant in the dome, call Blaster. I have always imagined it was the same character (big farmboy) from this movie that had managed to survive the apocolypse by way of his brawn (as "Blaster"). Could Blaster from "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome", be the same character as the farmhand in "Mad Max"? What do you think?

When Beyond Thunderdome first came out this was highly debated with most fans feeling that he was the same character. Watch Max as he knocks the helmet off
you can see by his reaction that he recognizes Blaster.

He's not the same actor, Benno is played by Max Fairchild and Blaster is played by an actor called Paul Larsson. Anyway, I have always wondered if they, despite being played by different people, could be the same character. In fact, there are some actors who have played different characters in the trilogy, to begin with Max Fairchild, who plays a hostage in "The Road Warrior" and Benno in Mad Max, or Bruce Spence, the Gyro Captain in "The Road Warrior" and Jedediah in "Beyond Thunderdome". So, if one actor can play different characters, why can't two actors play the same one?
Almost forgot about Mel Gibson and Tom hardy that, at least apparently, play the same character too!
