what is your obsession with col needham? he was smart enough to start a site about moviws and then grew the biz to a very sizable presence. BUT so what? imdb never created any original content.
u have some Edenic ideas that imdb was perfect before the devil tempted adam&eve and ruined the joint.
the whole imdb PQ routine coupled with the verification system along with the reporting system made for a very unhappy system.

Col started the site in the early days of the internet, when there was no competition. Part of the reason the site grew was because of the users, but he didn't care about them after he didn't need them anymore. -
