I was like many others when I first saw this. Its boring, its different from the 2nd, its another stupid comment, blahblahblahblahblah.
Years pass, I develop a love for exploitation and grindhouse and now fury road is out in theaters so I have a greater understanding of Geroge Millers directing and then I beep love this movie.
I watched this movie before each of the other 3 (one being a vhs copy of the terrible english dubbed version) and I may just end up doing this every time I watch them. I now fully understand why Mad Max had the impact it did and was such a big hit.
If you are one of those fans that is still iffy about this movie I highly suggest a re-watch.

Hadn't watched Mad Max for many years, but watching the blu ray again, was surprised - it was far more enjoyable than I rememberedand gave it a solid 8/10.

Got the blu ray as a birthday gift and it was like a pure rush. From watching the bad American dubbing being taped off cable tv to now, still a fantastic movie.
