No, mushrooms are absolutely not connected to this film. It's about unicorns and and flying carpets.
And stopp babbeling about "shrooms". If you paid attention you'd have MAYBE discovered that this film is not even about "shrooms" but Amanita Muscaria so before you waste my time again - your trolling is ridiculous.

THE DOORS by Oliver Stone, if I remember well Val Kilmer and his band went into the desert and had some mushrooms. I remember being reminded of Altered States.

I wouldnt call this movie strongly connected to mushrooms. yes the drug the indians make has a msuhroom as an ingridient but the main conenction is sensory depravation will cause regression and not mushrooms.
