I would love to do it while on psilocybin mushrooms. The only freaky thing is not knowing how much time has passed when in there. If there's radio-contact, then it would be alright. I would just fear of a malfunction or something that prevented me from exiting

My friend actually owns one of these. He built it himself apparently. He's like 2 mins from me I've seen it, it looks cool and all. He offered to let me try it he raves about it, but I honestly don't find it that interesting

Definitely. Anything to expand the mind, and it seems safe and controlled in the proper environment. I assume you would have to be fairly good at relaxing/meditating to begin with, and I personally can't see it making for hallucinations without the aid of some sort of psychedelic.

I've done it 3 times so far, for 1.5 hours each time.
My next time I scheduled 2 in a row in the same tank, so with half-hour free that would normally be for someone else to get ready I'll get 3.5 hours next time.
It's an amazing experience, so relaxing, primal even.
Not sure how to explain it, but I bought a book 'The book of Floating' or something like that on Amazon that might put it into words. -

I have many times. The health club I used to belong to had one and it was rarely used, so I used every time I went to the club. I didn't take any mind altering drugs, just floated and relaxed.
I found out some years latter the same sensation could be achieved by floating in a hot tub or jacuzzi with the cover in place. To exit all you had to do was to open the lid and get out. But inside it was warm, wet, definitely dark and quiet.
They now have tanks that you can rent time in at various locations. I have no need for one these days.
