Trippy Movies

Yeah, it's hard for me too, to watch movies on shrooms. Even Triplets of Belleville, which has basically no words, I couldn't take anymore, just because it was on a machine. So I took a walk outside

Great list though. Love the Qatsi trilogy. And Microcosmos, along with his newer one, Genesis. Though I'd add some Fellini movies.. and Eternal Sunshine, Adaptation (both on mushrooms; watched eternal on my first trip.) But not the Butterfly Effect, I found that to be pretty unoriginal.. I think the cinematography seduced people. And Woody Allen movies aren't usually trippy, but I love watching Stardust Memories with a bowl.

Has anyone of you seen One point 0? Well, thats a trippy movie even if you dont take anything. Like a Kafkas nightmare. Strongly recommend.
Also United states of leland is quite good, a way kind of like American beauty. -

yup really trippy one. i was about to ask if anyone seen this movie. other movies: human traffic the equivalent of trainspotting but on electro irreversible(u don't have to take any fungus), arizona dream, in fact all emir kusturika's movies have sthunique, no one mentioned the doors(oliver stone), a clockwork orange, the salton sea(but no so) and why not london. now movies off the topic, that i recommend slc punk, fight club, dead poet's society, the chumscrubber, waking life, history boys and i'm a fan of larry clark's work: kids, ken park, wassup rockers, another day in paradise and bully. there may be more but now i can't remember.

I really wouldn't consider Across the Universe a trippy movie, rox. I mean, it has very trippy visuals, but the plot, depth and meaning are hardly trippy/weird.
On another note.. Thank you very much OP/other posters for this thread! I know probably one or two people with the same taste of movies that I have, but their suggestions are far from anything I haven't seen. My netflix has been running low and I've needed suggestions on some good movies, and these are exactly my taste.
