That's true because William Smith was considered one of the best brawlers of his time and Bruce Lee himself invited him to play a fighter in "Enter The Dragon" but he had other things to do and had to pass the offer. Bruce Lee was a "conosseur" of good fighters and only wanted to work with the best fighters in the world. William Smith was one of them.

I've never heard of William Smith being a brawler but I do know he was one hell of a bodybuilder.
At one time he was even in the Guiness book of world records for reverse-curling his body-weight. Plus, he must have weighed about 200+ lbs, thats some crazy arm strength!

Britains very own bare knuckle champion, The late Lenny "The Guv'nor" Mclean, would have done Clint, Smith and Tank in just a few minutes of sheer mayhem!

Mclean was a big guy, I saw a few underground fights of his on dvd not so long ago and he looked tough, But I would put my money on smith, an intelligent, strong, trained fighter who I would suspect has much greater strength then Mclean. Smith was also a Boxer in his youth and martial arts expert, couple that with 19" arms, You got some real trouble on your hands!

William Smith held a 31-1 record as an amateur boxer and studied martial arts with kenpo instructor Ed Parker for several years.
