Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Battle Beyond the Stars

one of the seminal films of my youth, my parents recorded this one off
of late night television for me, and i must've run that VHS tape ragged..I've
watched this movie at least 200 times, and have loved the heck out of it.
Seeing it has been released on Blu-ray and DVD, i'm planning on picking it up
and holding onto it for the day that my now 5-year old son is ready for it.
5.1? Come on. This is a borderline classic!

I call it a guilty pleasure. Its no Schindler's List but why would you watch Schindler's List 200 times?
          Battle Beyond the Stars, baby!

Funny how films a small group of people love, others justdont get.
