The bulk of it is relatively predictable martial-type music, including the "Final Countdown" theme.
But I've always been haunted by the somber theme at the end when Charlie the dog runs down and into the limo, and Lasky meets Tideman - it's something of a mix of 1970s soap opera and Exorcist, but it's done very, very well.

The Laurel/Owen theme is certainly one of the saddest sounding pieces of music ever put to screen. I just watched this movie with my 15yr old nephew yesterday (3-15-16) and commented exactly that to him.

I think the main theme is terrific. One of the best underrated scores from a film.
I agree the Laurel/Owen theme is well done. I wish there was more time for us to discuss this.
