Honestly though, Ben Stiller is actually a pretty good Actor.
It is definitely possible that he could surprise a lot of people (including myself) and actually be good in the role.

It's a Stage adaptation. Not a movie. Sounds interesting. Wish I could see it if they get it together.

It was already remade as a tv miniseries. And that version got King's stamp of approval. He didn't like Kubrick's version. I love The Shining. Both the book and the movie. The miniseries wasn't as good.
