James when it came to his penchant for physical discipline and low tolerance for misbehaving. James would issue blunt warnings that basically ended all noise, or the whole episode would center around the beating that was going to happenbut at the last minute wouldn't. Chief, on the other hand, would take off his belt and actually slapped the girls a few times in the beginning.
