This is correct. One of his last movie appearances was in "Ghost," opposite Patrick Swayze/Demi Moore. Sadly, he passed away in 1995 due to AIDS-related complications (he had a drug problem, IIRC.)

I first saw him in Mystery Train, a pretty good little indie film, and I had no idea who he was though I thought his performance was pretty cool. Then I saw him here and realized, oh he must be famous since this movie is filled with celebrities.
Now I can't remember - who was the white guy he was riding with? Was that guy also in Mystery Train?
