Hmmmm, I bet you it is! I figured out last night that we saw it around '84. Wow, my age is sure showing. I think that it might have been very poorly dubbed way back then. You don't realize how many zombie flicks there are until you try to find the name of an older one!

I've ordered the DVD. I'll let you know if this is the vague zombie movie from my youth.

Great! I'd appreciate it. LOL I might be reduced to ordering it myself! Tonight on Sci-fi we have Necroplis & Rave to the Grave. Zombies, zombies every where. (They'd starve in this house!) 😉

I love this film, and while their is no zombie in a crib, their is a zombie boy,
about 5-7 years old, who comes back from the dead and eats his dad, then is shot by one of the swat team!
And their is an elavator scene it in too!

😕 I may never know what movie it was. Do you have any ideas? Btw, now that you mention it, I seem to remember a zombie boyI thought it was a rip off of NotLD. Now that I've grown up I no longer believe that Romero is a genius who's every word is poetry. It's really only about 95%! lol

Hey, romero is great, hell he made my favorite zombie flick of all time, Dawn Of the Dead. But if you think he only knows zombies, check out MARTIN. Now that is a hell of a movie!!!!!!!!!!
Off the top of my head i dont know what movie you are trying to uncover from your memory I have a good selection of zombie flicks, but alot of them run together alot. It's hard to single out a scene in an old italian zombie flick!!!!
Now slasher movies i can handle, but the zombie movies are all lump together in my gray matter!!!!
              Good Luck on your search!

I'd like to find some really scary stuff, not just gore, you know? I wanna impress these people, not just have Freddie and Jason and Michael. Last time we saw Evil Dead 1 & 2 and Freaks, kinda dull. You've come to the right man my friend!!!
Now lets see. My love of horror films is very very broad, i like everything from old black and whites, to silent films, to cheap dubed forigen flicks! lol.
But if you want a few good slashers, might i suggest..
Maniac, The Final Terror, Superstition, The Driller Killer, The Funhouse, MadMan, Midnight, (Rituals)"This one is like Deliverance and a slasher combo, it's better than Deliverance", My Bloody Valentine, Dead and Buried, The Fog, Pieces, Hell Night, The Mutilator, Slaughter House.
I could go on and on and on, i own 379 horror-sci-fi films to date. So i know my stuff! HAHAH!
If you want my all time favorite movies it would have to be,
                  The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1974
                  The Hills Have Eyes
                  The Town That Dreaded Sundown,
                  Martin,
                  Eaten Alive (Tobe Hooper)
Stick with any of those and you can't go wrong!!
                  Hope that helps!
                  Slash On,
                  BigJoe

Am I the only one who thinks House of 1000 Corpses has the same feel as The Hills have Eyes? I know you are the only other person I know who liked Hills! I hope you have a review of Martin. I've never seen it. Thanks soooo much for the suggestions. Every one else keeps steering me twoard sub titled Japanese flicks. There fine, but I wanna watch the movies, not the words.

Well, i saw house 1000 in theaters, and kinda liked it up till the last 20 mins And i saw devils rejects too, and didnt like it at all boring and very low body count.
But yeah, the hills have eyes is my second favorite movie!
And in all my 300+ horror films, not one of them is Japanese. I dont have anything aginst them really, other than some little kid who stands and looks into the camera just isnt very fun to watch lol
Yeah, i did a review on martin, take a look! Trust me man, martin is a bad ass movie!!!!

I think the movie you might be looking for is "Dead Alive". If I remember it had a baby zombie in a crib in it. http://www.imdb.com/board/10103873/

Yeah and really, who didn't see that coming? Any zombie fan worth his salt knew there was going to be a boatload of zombies in the elevator when it opened. Soon as I saw they were going to use an elevator, I was like "2 to 1 there's going to be zombies in it when it opens" then one guy says "Stay near the elevator!" and they all back up near it with their backs to the door. I was just like "Ok, come on now, that's just asking for it" and sure enough, the doors opened and a bunch of zombies popped out and grabbed the camera man and eat him. I was really surprised that guy lasted that long anyway especially with that little "I need to record this!" thing with the zombie group.

I remember the elevator scene. Does this movie end with a couple making out on a roof and zombies attack them.
                              "God be with you, Frank."
"Sometimes I'd like to get my hands on God."

The zombie kid in the crib sounds like Redneck Zombies? I'm only going by memory, but, I thought at one point there was a zombie kid in a crib in that film.
The elevator doors thing did happen in Hell Of The Living Dead. The remaining cast are backing towards an elevator door which bursts open and they grab and eat the camera man guy. The looney soldiers then gets dragged in and eaten. The elevator rises at which point, somehow and for some reason, the female lead decides to look up the elevator shaft and torrents of blood spill all over her face, rather gratuitously. 😆
