      I always thought so - though Possession is rather more layered and less literal than Hellraiser.

        Hellraiser is Clive Barker doing what he does best: mixing sex with gore and strange worlds.
        Possession is like HP Lovecraft meets David Lynch and decide to make a movie together.

          Yes, it totally does! I'll bet Clive Barker is a fan of this film, & obviously this unique genre.
