Actually, I think Diego says, "some kind of dog?" The accent throws it off. There's no way Paco looked like a duck in his bear costume, but could possibly be mistaken for a dog. -

He was dressed all in plum. Everthing matched. And he talk-ed differently. He talked-ed like a poof! SMACK!
I can't remember it exactly, but the quote where Diego first meets up with Esteban & Florinda and congratulates Esteban on winning her as his bride. "It is I who congratulate you," says Esteban.

The way these lines are delivered by both Leibman and Hamilton with camp voices make this the most hilarious part of the movie. -
