Yes. The writing is some of the best any show I've ever seen. I was too young to remember the Diane years when it was on so I grew up with the Rebecca era. Until I started rewatching it on Netflix I never realized how good it was.

I didn't like Diane because of her pomposity and I hated her relationship with Sam, but Rebecca was so shallow and pathetic that I preferred Diane.
