      That's the sort of stuff you do when you're working in a fantasy realm. You're trying to create a world completely from scratch and make it seem exotic and strange, and that often involves turning certain things on their ear.
      Names are always the tricky part. Why is there a "Luke" Skywalker who rarely comes into contact with anyone else who has a contemporary "Terran" sounding name (Han, Leia, Lando, Obi-Wan, Wedge, Biggs, Yoda, etc)?
