I was kinda tipsy when I wrote that post. How silly is that.
On the forums I frequently visit, it seems to happen quite often.
I haven't seen DGTS on TV for around fifteen years. I am very much looking forward to a DVD release. -

OMG! 15 years? I havent seen it in 18 years!
Its a shame Kristen Cummings and Robin Ignico aren't acting anymore. They were soooooooo awesome in this movie.
Its also sad that Dennis Weaver and Ruth Gordon aren't with us anymore. they were good actors, especcially in DGTS.
And this much talked about redux that unfortunatly is on hiatus for now, I cant wait to see what thatll be like.

Yessssss, I was thinking this same thing. The only time I use a pizza cutter is when I heat up a frozen pizza. Was there ever a time waaaaaay in the past when pizza places did NOT cut the pizza for you? In this movie it would have easily worked for the mother to have been heating up a pizza at home.

Well, I've bought from parlors and it has always been cut into pieces, however, sometimes they are only partial cuts that don't go all the way through the dough; a number of times I've had to re-cut where the slices were when I brought it home. Occasionally I also cut a large slice into two smaller onesso it's plausible.

I thought about that too, but I noticed it had different toppings in different areas (it was either half and half, or half and 1/4, 1/4) and it's possible they may not have cut it for that reason.
Or they just needed a reason to give a kid a ludicrously sharp pizza cutter. Either works.
