After months of this movie playing in my mind (yes, I too saw it when I was 8yrs old and have had it in my mind ever since) I googled hundreds of different names, finally finding this site of kindred folks who were all terrified of the same movie. Hilarious! Anyway, www.myhouseoffilms.net sells a copy of it as well as many other cult classics and hard to find made for tv movies. I ordered it last Thursday and got it on Saturday, around $20, the owner of the website is great, keeps in contact with you until you receive your purchase. I laughed through most of it because I remembered most of it, the theme song is still strange, the pizza cutter scene was still crazy, Mary in the asylum was sad (that little girl played a great multiple personality in that scene), and I'm sorry that ending with Jennifer's ghost appearing at the foot of the mother's bed was still freaky, something with the lighting made that little girl Jennifer's eyes dance in a strange way and what a strange smile she had, she was a good little actress, I can see why it scared me way back when!

I just submitted a Yahoo Answers question about this movie. After searching for the title of this movie for years, the question was answered literally in seconds! What a mindnumbing tool is the internet!
I watched this movie as a kid, and likewise, will never forget it. -

I watched this film when i was 8 years old in the early eighties and it totally freaked me out but the film has not been shown on tv since!! why?? this film is a classic other horror films do not come close.

Amazing how we all had a similar experience with this movie. I also searched to find it after seeing it when I was eight or nine. I literally remember not sleeping for fear of that little girl in my bedroom.

I remember it from when It was shown on UK TV and after years of looking found it this year I got a copy from e bay and made my own cover for the DVD if your interested in a copy( free) contact me one of the best TV horror film ever!!!

Guys,
is this the film where she puts a snake or something in the Granny's bed?? If it is, it sacred the bejesus out of me also. Didn't sleep for weeks!! My dad thought it was hilarious I was having nightmares. Evil father. -
