Why did the Palmer-thing hate Windows so much?

He kept casting suspicion upon Windows. He wouldn't pick on any of the other team– it was just Windows.
And then when Palmer was revealed to be a THING, he ATE Windows!
So why did Palmer hate Windows? Did anyone figure out why? -

Like. This creature from space whose goal is to assimilate everyone and take over the planet, just kinda doesn't vibe with Windows and keeps making petty, passive aggressive comments towards him
