USA sends 20,000 missiles to the Middle East, intended for Ukraine +++
According to President Zelensky, Ukraine waited in vain for the 20,000 missiles promised by the USA.
The missiles were intended to combat Russian Shahed drones, Zelensky said in an interview with ABC.
The agreement was made with the previous US administration under President Joe Biden.
The administration of President Donald Trump diverted the missiles to the Middle East, Zelensky said.
"We were counting on this project – 20,000 missiles to combat the Shahed drones. It wasn't expensive, but it involved special technology,"
the Ukrainian president continued.
"This morning, my defense minister informed me that the United States had transferred them to the Middle East."

typical trump move. just what compromising info does Putin have on Trump, or is Trump truly and literally " the Manchurian Candidate"?
i assume Musk spoke the truth about trump and epstein or the inference that trump had enjoyed epstein's favors with under 18 year old teens. Musk although a human piece of ****, is quite smart and knows what a libel trial would result in. om the other hand, Trump knows that in a discovery phase, musk's lawyers would pretty much have access to all trump's dirty secrets: so Trump wouldnt sue.
so maybe Musk bluffed trump. But Putin clearly holds the hidden hole cards, cuz i dont see how any american elected official would carry so much water for an openly and avowed enemy of the USA.

Fake Paving Stones, alleged Puppet Masters
Videos and images from the protests in Los Angeles went viral on social media.
But not all of them show what is being claimed.
There are also false accusations based on AI chatbots.
Paving Stones as supposed Evidence of organized Protests
The false claims often aim to spread the conspiracy narrative that the protests in L.A. were actually organized. US billionaire George Soros, a long-time target of conspiracy theorists, is named as the alleged mastermind.
US actor James Woods, among others, shared a picture on
X
of stacked paving stones on a street, suggesting that they were provided for the protesters. False, as the fact-checking website
Lead Stories
discovered. The photo wasn't taken in L.A., but in the eastern part of the country, in New Jersey. The paving stones have nothing to do with the protests; they belong to a construction site.
This isn't the only image of paving stones being circulated in the wrong context. Another photo was widely shared with similar allegations. It also shows red paving stones. A reverse image search reveals that it also has nothing to do with the protests. It actually comes from a Malaysian online store for building materials.
Burning Police Car not current
A video showing several destroyed police cars was also widely shared. One of the cars is ablaze. Republican U.S. Senator Ted Cruz shared it on
X
, saying,
"This is not peaceful."
The video was also posted by actor James Woods. This video, too, wasn't created in connection with the current protests. A reverse image search shows that the video is about five years old. It originally came from the news channel
Sky News
and was uploaded on May 31, 2020.
It depicts the riots in L.A. following the death of African-American George Floyd. The incident brought the US
Black Lives Matter
protest movement to global attention. Governor Gavin Newsom, among others, drew attention to this error on
X
in response to Woods' false claim.
False Claims by AI Chatbots
Newsom was wrongly accused of distributing old photos. Newsom shared two photos of National Guardsmen sleeping side by side on the ground. He captioned the post:
"You sent your troops here without fuel, food, water, or a place to sleep. Here they are — forced to sleep on the ground, stacked on top of each other. If anyone is disrespecting our troops, it's you, Donald Trump."
Screenshots of responses from AI chatbots such as ChatGPT and Grok subsequently circulated on social media. The chatbots' responses stated that these images were from 2021 and showed US troops in Afghanistan. Newsom's claims that the images were related to the riots in L.A. weren't credible. The chatbots were wrong.
A reverse image search shows, the two photos were first uploaded on June 09, 2025. They come from the
San Francisco Chronicle
. The caption reads:
"Photos obtained by the Chronicle show California National Guard troops deployed to Los Angeles by the Trump administration apparently crammed into basements or loading docks of federal buildings."
AI-generated Video circulating
Another video in connection with the current protests, is actually AI-generated. It purports to show a National Guardsman on duty during the protests. The video contains several image errors. For example, a police car reads
"LAPC"
instead of LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department). Some of the traffic lights are also faulty, flashing red and green simultaneously. The account from which the video originally came, claims to be a
satire channel.
Equally false is the widespread claim that the Mexican government consider military intervention. There are no sources for this claim. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum pointed out at a press conference that Mexico applies the principle of non-interference.

Following the devastating Russian drone attacks on Kharkiv last night, the number of victims is rising: 54 people were injured, reports Mayor Terekhov. Among them were
