Christmas shopping for your family, when do you usually start?

I started a couple weeks ago and finished this morning. I got a lot of nice new **** for myself, and even some stuff for other people.
Only bought stuff online for Black Friday sales, which started as early as 2pm on Thanksgiving - ****ing ridiculous. Went to a couple live sales on BF but was 30 minutes late and then left because the lines were too long. Unless you wanted some cheapass $150 4k 50" tv you could get pretty much everything else online anyway, most of it even before the black friday sale was supposed to begin.
I did notice everyplace had a huge pile of Xbox and PS4 systems that nobody was buying, especially the all digital xbox bundle. They're a little late in the game and new systems coming out next year to be pushing these without steep discounts.

You work hard for that money so, why not???
We no longer exchange on Christmas, just birthdays
