Seriously, i was really pissed, WTF? The young 3rd generation jew I mean he looks completly retard, drunk half the time, lazy as hell. Then he enlist in the visitor army. Ironicaly enough is grand father went to concentration camp in the second world war, And he replicate exactly what the nazis didnt to his forefathers. Then he turn psycho, treatening to betray his crush's family if she doesnt want to make out with him, then when is parent try to stop him near the pool he point his gun at them then to the autorities to get them arrested. I MEAN WHAT a total retarded, back stabing psycho jerk of a son. Wtaching this for the first time theses days, and this is "The" character who really pissed me yet.him and that damn aristocratic wannabe old lady.. OH and whats up with all this cross species romance? LOL If only theses women knew hahaha.
These trivial matters aside, till now i give this a 10 out of 10 🙂

The traitor is what really made it hit home for me. In any war there will be traitors and collaborators and it shows that no race is immune. It also provided a contrast for you to judge the other characters. Robin was also smitten with the alien but she soon woke up. Ruby was an old lady but she had more backbone and courage than the traitor. I'm guessing his death by the visitors is one of the most cheered!

Not by me, I thought it was awful. Yes he was despicable traitor and that's no doubt what he would have done to someone else if the situation was reversed. I hated him as much as the next person, but it still upsets when people are punished for things they didn't do. Have at me V fans.

It is ironic that Daniel (the traitor) is Jewish, considering that his grandfather was a Holocaust survivor. He was supposed to represent the young Nazi movement in Germany in the 30's who did the same thing. But he ends up getting killed and going to hell in a handbasket anyway.

Doesn't that remind you of the current zionists? The original Jews who suffered in teh holocaust are being used as an excuse to kill Palestinians, but the ones doing the killing most likely had nothing do with with the holocaust.
And, if there are any who were in the holocaust who are doing the same to the Palestinians, then like the old man said, 'they've learned nothing'.

To quote Abraham exactly it is "We haven't learned a thing." But I'm not really aware of the current zionists and what they have been doing.

Just see what Israel is doing to Palestine.
The way they were treated by the nazis, you'd think they would think twice before treating others the same way. But they're doing to the Palestinians exactly what the nazis did to them.
I don't believe the Israelis who are doing the killing in Palestine even know what the nazis did.
If they do, then like Abraham said, "(They) haven't learned a thing."

You can just see Abraham's heart breaking when Daniel puts on that uniform. The fact that the uniform was brown like the SA uniforms were must've been made it even more devestating.
You are making the mistake of thinking you are more important than you actually are.

Also when Daniel is sitting on the floor polishing the laser gun we see Abraham looking at him, realizing he has sold himself to the devil.

As for the guy who is disturbed that Daniel was punished for something that he didn't do, I found it unrealistic. Daniel had proved his loyalty to the Visitors on multiple occasions by that point. Why would Steven believe that Daniel had handed Brian over to the resistance merely because he got an anonymous phone call from a human saying that he did? If I was Steven, that would have made me think that it was LESS LIKELY that Daniel sold Brian out. Also, the Resistance hated Daniel for obvious reasons, so they certainly wouldn't have cooperated with him. That fact that Steven didn't see through such an obvious set-up caused me to lose respect for his intelligence. It also showed that Visitors don't have an "Innocent until proven guilty" Judicial system, that's for sure (not that that's surprising). Also, if Diane really had developed an infallible truth serum when used on humans, why didn't Steven use the serum on Daniel to find out the real truth? Nope, he just relied on one anonymous phone call from a human. It just made me all the more happy when Tyler killed Steven and the way that he killed him. He was choked out with red dust instead of being shot.
Anyone else find it unrealistic that Steven didn't see through the set-up?
Also, how ironic is it that the two human traitors (Daniel and Eleanore) were both killed by the visitors, not by humans.

Realism really had nothing to do with it. Daniel was a human and this proved that it didn't matter how loyal he was to the Visitors', at the end of the day, he's nothing more than meat to them. Any excuse to eat him would have sufficed no matter how lame or contrived. Poetic justice, in my opinion.

You're right. I don't think Stephen particularly cared if Daniel was guilty or innocent. He was going to end up on a serving plate sooner or later and it happened sooner under the circumstances.

It has to do with the fact that in Steven's mind, Brian was more important than Daniel because Brian was one of him and Daniel was not, even though he showed loyalty. It is like Hitler thinking the Poles were okay, but they were second class in the master race of his. And also, when Daniel mentions that he was set-up by Maggie, Steven replies that they checked and there isn't any nurse by that name registered at the hospital, he thinks, "No, Daniel is lying to us."

The reason why Steven believed Daniel had betrayed Brian, was because he knew Daniel was highly ambitious - after all he'd sold his family out just to improve his career prospects, and Steven actually mentioned in the episode that he believed that with Brian out of the way, Daniel would have the opportunity to take move up and take his place.

Well, that is another way to look at it. In Steven's mind, both things made him think Daniel was a threat and deserved to join Abraham and Ruby in the afterlife. Would've loved to see him actually get killed.
