Really, like getting ripped apart by the dog was going to be very helpful? He would have just been killed. Cujo was a 200 lb dog, he was a small child. I have a nephew that would have behaved the same way when he was 4 or 5.

      Sigh
. Like by not screaming at the top of your lungs making the dog more irritated. When you overreact around any dangerous animal it just make it worse. Just like if you run you should expect to be chased. Your nephew is a pussy.

Sigh, a child does not think like an adult. An adult knows that screaming is going to irritate the dog, didn't you see his mother trying to cover his mouth while he was screaming? An adult is going to know that running is going to cause something to chase you. A child that can barely tell fact from fiction is going to going to do whatever it takes them to cope.

His mother should have explained to him why it was imperative for him to shut the beep up or he will get them both killed. They're are children that have common sense.

Exactlyshe was the mother. She was the one that needed to keep her head. Yes, there are some children that have common sense but in high stress situations that common sense MAY go out the window.

Same here. Just because it's realistic dosen't mean it can't be annoying. That screaming was driving me crazy. Had to turn down the volume at least three times.

Killer dog is trying to eat him, and actually manages to take a few bites out of his mom, and your concern is the inconvenience that you had to go through while watching and listening to this " annoying" kid. And yes, I found him to be irritating, but show some beep perspective.

I understand why he was reacting like that, but in that situation, I honestly would've been tempted to strangle him.
He wouldn't have to die of starvation, dehydration, or rabies, and I could get some damn piece and quiet!

What, it isn't like he was screaming because he got stung by a bee. That was a big and aggressive dog. Maybe I'm in the minority, but the little boys performance actually made cry a little. He was a kid so I can understand him being very fearful of the "boogie monster".

Yes, the kid is annoying. The actress who plays the mother is good and the story is good. Too bad for the dog though.

Oh no, lol, you're not the only one who found him so extremely annoying! Matter of fact, I hated the way the book ended with the kid dying, but was so annoyed by the kid in the movie I was hoping the dog would just eat him before the movie ended, lol. So glad to see after all these years that I'm not the only one who found him to be so irritating!

I loved seeing that beep shredded by the dog; I hate beep I wanted the dog to rip her to shreds, eat her fingers, puncture her eyeballs; break her bones; It would've been cool if the dog had beep her in the twat after she was dead, then bitten and mangled her ugly beep twat afterwards I wanted to see the dog bite the kid's dick off, bit off his ears and arms; I hate kids; I loved seeing the dog rip the hell out of that 'pig'; I hate pigs with a passion; I love movies that show 'pigs' getting their 'come-uppance'; Maybe the dog should've beep the 'pig' in the ass and turned him into a beep before killing him. 2 stars.

Little kids screaming is suppose to be annoying. It's how young children ask for help. Hell I was stuck in a car and crazy dog was after me I'd scream too. I think most people would.

I docked this film one full star just for having to listen to that whining brat.

He might be annoying for the viewer, but his reactions are quite realistic.
He's a little kid trapped in a car by a killer dog who wants to tear him and his mother apart.
Much better than in some movies when a little kid starts talking to the adults "I know what's going on! This monster just wants to play with us, we should just do this and this now" And every adult person in the room looks at him quietly and takes his advices. Yeah, that's exactly what a 5 year old kid would do in real life.
