i rewatched Terms of Endearment (1983) today

this multiple award winning slice of life film follows a family through out the years and moves along in time about as much as films like Boyhood did. it certainly won't be for everyone but i found it a wonderful enough viewing. Shirley MacLaine is superb as is the rest of the cast, Jack Nicholson bringing spunk and energy into it, Debra Winger, Jeff Daniels, John Lithgow, to name the most prominent. well, as you can see by the cast, this film is a real actors film with plenty of emotional scenes, one of my favs can be seen below. director: James L. Brooks. Oscars for Best Film in 1983, Shirley MacLaine and Jack Nicholson. 7/10

This! I hope to be as cool as Jack's character when I'm in my 50's. Saw this when I was seven years old and remember Debra Winger's hospital scenes and the supermarket scene and Jeff Daniels owned by Shirley.
